The Road

The Road is a drama series that tells the story of a contemporary production company that is filming a drama, set in fifties Sophiatown, a black ghetto close to the centre of Johannesburg. The high energy drama of young love, thugs and politics in the fictional world, is matched by and comments on the steamy drama of the contemporary world. The series won multiple awards.
