Over the years we have prided ourselves in affording not only established actors but also a lot of new actors opportunities. We find joy in the work that we do because of the impact it has on the people we work with and our viewers. Chichi has portrayed the wonderful character Claudia on Isithembiso for Season One and Two. She has brought her talent and enthusiasm to this role.

We were shocked at the content of the article published by Sunday Sun on the 25th November and the manner in which it positioned our relationship with the actress. The storyline for Chichi’s character had been planned months ago and we had discussed this with Chichi. The supposed allegations of the production company taking her to rehab are false and not substantiated by anything other than a malicious rumour.

All shows have to evolve to keep fresh and characters come and go as was the case with Claudia on Isithembiso. We have maintained a good professional relationship with Chichi through the period she was with Bomb Productions.
